6pm in the Cafeteria Conference Room.

Common Interest Forum
At the most recent Common Interest Forum, there were productive conversations with
management on staffing, wages, call pay, and holidays. We would like to thank those who
attended and spoke passionately about their concerns. The turnout from the membership was
tremendous and the best we’ve had in years! The Union and the Hospital are continuing to
work, daily, toward a resolution on these issues.

Staffing Levels
CWA Local 1103, along with NYSNA and SEIU 1199, are continuing to work with
Montefiore/Nyack Hospital to increase staffing levels under the guidance of the Safe Staffing
Law. Unfortunately, Montefiore/Nyack is challenging certain aspects of the law by claiming
that the law does not apply to many of our job titles. While we await clarification from the NYS
Department of Health, we need your help. Please take a few minutes to let the DOH know
