We are writing to inform you that CWA has reached a Tentative Agreement with Optimum in the form of a 2026 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which will be presented to the membership for a ratification vote.

Under the terms of this Tentative Agreement:

The current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) will be extended through March 29, 2027.

All terms and conditions of the Agreement remain the same..

It is important to be clear about what this agreement does—and does not—do.

While this Tentative Agreement addresses wages and extends the current contract, the Union is continuing to pursue all appropriate legal and regulatory avenues related to the Company’s sale of work to MasTec. This includes our active complaint before the Public Service Commission (PSC), as well as our ongoing arbitration case. Nothing in this agreement withdraws, waives, or diminishes those efforts.

Voting to ratify the tentative agreement will take place on Thursday at 7:00am Hawthorne and Friday at 7:00 am Wappingers.
