CWA 1103 and the Rye Free Reading have reached an agreement on a new 5-year contract. This agreement retains all the provisions of the existing contract with ZERO GIVEBACKS. We have added Juneteenth as an additional Floating Holiday. We have increased Paid Leave for Part-Timers from 18 to 22 hours each year. Medical costs were stabilized and there was a significant increase in wages for all employees.
Steward, Tara Montini and Chief Steward, Lisa Fitzmaurice were instrumental, throughout the bargaining process, in securing this agreement. Due to their leadership and insight, the union was able to reach a fair and equitable agreement for all our members.
