To All CWA Local 1103 Members Who Have Recently Retired or Are Retiring This Week — Thank You.

Retirement is more than the end of a career. It is the beginning of a new chapter, one that you have spent years working toward and earned through your hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. For each of you, this milestone deserves recognition not only with congratulations, but with genuine appreciation for all you have contributed along the way.

Thank you for your solidarity. Thank you for your support. Thank you for standing with your union, even when you may not have agreed with every decision or position we took. That is what being part of a union is about. We don't have to agree on everything to stand together for something bigger than ourselves.

Every generation of Local 1103 members inherits the gains, protections, and opportunities fought for by those who came before them. Those gains were never simply handed down. They were earned through hard work, sacrifice, and members standing together when it mattered. You have been part of that tradition, and because of your contributions, the members who follow you will have a stronger foundation on which to build. Our union is stronger today because you were part of it.

The wages, benefits, protections, and opportunity to retire with dignity that you have earned are the result of generations of workers who understood the value of standing together. You have helped carry that responsibility, and you should take great pride in knowing that your years of service have meant something beyond the work you performed each day. You helped preserve something that belongs not only to you, but also to those who came before you and those who will follow.

You may be retiring from the job, but you will always be part of the Local 1103 family.

On behalf of the CWA Local 1103 Executive Board, thank you for your years of service, your solidarity, and your friendship. It has been an honor to represent you, and we wish you nothing but the best in the years ahead.

In unity and with gratitude,

Kevin Sheil
President
