The union was notified that Verizon Services Corp. is declaring a surplus condition of seven (7) associates in the following titles:

 (2) Senior Technician BUS/GOV within the following Article 8 units:

o (1) Nassau County
o (1) CT

 (5) Technician BUS/GOV within the following Article 8 units:

o (2) Westchester County
o (1) Rockland County
o (1) Nassau County
o (1) CT

Beginning September 19, 2026, Verizon Services Corp. will solicit employees in the titles and Article 8 units referenced above to volunteer to leave the business with the layoff allowance specified in the Labor Agreement.

Employees will have 14 calendar days to decide whether to take the volunteer
offer to leave the business. Accordingly, all volunteers will need to submit their offer applications no later than October 2, 2026. The off-payroll date for the employee(s) who accept the volunteer offer will be October 11, 2026.

To the extent there are insufficient volunteers to relieve the surplus, the Service Company does not have plans to lay off employees.
